What Is the best photography quality camera for the money? I’m interested in purchasing a Photography quality camera with interchangeable lens’s like the ones i used in photography class not the basic tiny digital camera. I can’t recall the the camera names. I don’t even know where to began. I just love how all pictures come out beautiful. Also I know these cameras can get expensive…so what it the best quality in the lower price range.

1. Get a good camera 2. Learn how to use it VERY well 3. Get top quality lighting and/or electronic flash 4. get something to use as a backdrop if you don’t have money, like a pale blue/grey bed sheet 5. Ask around photography shops waht portraits cost for a basic 10-15 minute seating

Check around in your area to see what other photographers are charging for what services they are offering. Since you’ll likely be taking more casual shots of fellow students and not using a formal “studio”, etc. just charge them a reduce value to those going rates by the pros. Have fun ~ I ran a dark room for years and loved it.

How can I start my own photography company? I’m 16 and I want to start my own little photography company (I guess I can call it that?) Some people around school want me to take their pictures, but I don’t know how much I should charge or do what. I want to make some cash, because I don’t work, and I honestly don’t want to work at the mall or at some restaurant. I have taken photography classes, I am good at it, but I have NO idea where to start at, please help me out here.

The Canon PowerShot S5IS is an excellent camera, beginner to amateur. Why stop with beginner? It also comes with a built in digital telephoto lens. It is also a handsome looking camera. Check it out on line at canon.com. If you can’t find a dealer in your area Dell sells that camera. “Have lots of fun.”

when i started shooting using a dslr, i had Nikon D40. I think it’s the best digital camera for beginners. It’s very easy to use and affordable too.

I am a professional photographer. The best camera for you really depends a lot on your budget. If it’s very low initially, look for a compact camera that offers full manual controls. The Canon G9 offers manual controls and the best user interface I’ve ever seen on a compact camera. It also takes stunning photos and even offers a flash hot-shoe. ~ $500 Next up are the entry level DSLRs. I’d skip the bottom rung like the Nikon D40′s – everybody I know who has purchased one upgraded to a D80 or better within a year. If you’re interested in pursuing photography as a career, you’ll want to stick to either Nikon or Canon DSLRs, because they are the only two systems widely available for rent and service in just about any civilized corner of the globe. You’ll find it’s difficult or impossible to find local stores and service centers that carry Pentax or Olympus components.
